Withdrawal from a course or all courses prior to the first day of classes = full refund of tuition to be issued within ten (10) business days less the $35 application fee.
Students must inform the Registrar that they intend to withdraw from a course or courses before the refund can be given.
Withdrawal after the start of classes, but within the first four weeks of the six weeks of any class taken = pro-rated refund of tuition, per the following schedule:
The number of days remaining in the session (at the time the student expressed an interest to withdraw) divided by the total days in the session rounded down to the nearest tenth. This decimal multiplied by the total tuition paid for that course = amount refunded.
After the beginning of the fourth week of any session, withdrawals will only be granted at the discretion of the Dean. Students can petition the Dean in writing to be considered for a withdrawal without penalty. Failure to request permission for withdrawal at this time from the Dean will result in an F in the course or courses.
Robert Welch Universitys refund policy is in compliance with the Educational Approval Board of Wisconsins Refund Standards (EAB 8.01-8.09).
